Splatter T3 does not hit with the projectile after a bounce if hit with the aoe first.

There's been multiple hotfixes since last patch, and this bug was most likely fixed during one of these. Those never get patch notes.

The bug is that splatter's projectile cannot hit the same target after it bounces. This has been a thing viscous' t3 splatter could do ever since it could bounce, to my knowledge.

From the way your reply sounds, it sounds like you might think that the thing being reported is that the original "double hit" was a bug, correct? That's just how splatter works. Splatter t3 can hit the same target 3 times, one time for each bounce. A recent patch made it so the projectile itself no longer does damage for some reason.

I'm only saying that every update since May 27th has been a hotfix. Those don't get patch notes, therefore there's no patch notes to list a bugfix like this on.

I do believe multi-hit splatter is a bug. Nowhere in the ability description does it say that a target can be hit multiple times by a single bounce, just that it would bounce to nearby targets. This would be very important information to list if dealing double damage because you shot their feet at a specific angle was intended.

Fixing bugs like this is important. Multi-hitting splatter is very inconsistent. You shouldn't leave players guessing why one instance of splatter nuked them to zero, while another instance barely tickled them. It also benefits Viscous players, since fixing "beneficial" bugs like this leaves room for future buffs in the future if Viscous turns out to be weak as a result of this adjustment.

The description implies it CAN multi-hit when upgraded to T3. "Multiple hits to the same target deal less damage".
Splatter bounces 3 times, and it can hit up to 3 times. No more. With this "fix", it means splatter can, more often than not, only hit twice sometimes when at t3. I should also say that it isn't exclusive to shooting at their feet. It can be bounced off a wall as well to hit someone with the projectile. Updated the name of the report to reflect this. It isn't an angle specific thing. It's a mechanic thing.

As for it actually being beneficial for viscous players that this "bug" is fixed, it just leads to situations where the splatter VERY clearly passes through someone and does 0 damage.
