Venator Crossbow Mystic Reverb Fail

Mystic reverb does not proc on ultimate.

Perhaps the wording of the item should be changed, then, because the item description doesn't say anything about needing to deal spirit damage. It just says deal and additional percentage of the damage dealt.

Oh, does it work on his other abilities? I have noticed other abilities that deal weapon damage do also have this issue.

Just thought "hmm... I want good life steal, and good area control, because this guy sure is a "STAND BACK" type badass priest. So I went IMMEDIATELY to Mystic Reverb, tried ult. Didn't work. Figured it may have been spirit, tried the others, and it works with all the other abilities.

See, here's the thing now, though. I have a feeling, based on the fact that it works on his other abilities (even the grenade which has the exact same damage types as the ult) they probably purposefully disabled it due to it being too strong. His ult hits so hard it would be quite powerful. Moreso than just about any other ability in the game. Maybe they will enable it at a later time when they can balance it better, or will remove the ability to imbue it on the ult entirely.

Also:
He lifesteals from his gun abilities - provided it's bullet life steal. Spirit lifesteal does NOT work on the gun abilities - nor the pure (true) damage.

True damage does not get healed by bullet or spirit steal.

Goodness it gets even weirder - Bebop's uppercut does not proc Mystic reverb...

BUT THE SPLASH DOES. Actually, that's lowkey better.

Turns out, it doesn't proc on far away drifter claws, but it procs when you're up close.

Almost as if, gun and spirit can proc it, but not melee.

Update: Procs on Silver's 1 in human (gun), but not in wolf form (melee damage).
