Upgrade to reactive barrier idea

The idea here is that it stops you from getting chain CC'd so badly that 1 CC would completely snowball into death. It would also be useful on melee characters if people stun you in proximity, since you would have enough time to get a heavy melee off without another parry stun.

The drawbacks are that it doesn't last very long, so it wouldn't be as powerful as unstoppable, since you couldn't use it to set up seven or haze ults, for example. And of course, you would still be vulnerable to CC after the unstoppable duration is over.

I love the idea but I feel as if this has to be a tier 4 minimum and have the same CD as like unstoppable or cheat death
You gotta remember unstoppable is a POWERFUL buff that basically can solo win you a teamfight or even a game if you play right

I hope they iterate on this idea until they reach a good consensus and add it to the game tho

I agree that it is powerful, but considering that you aren't the one who controls when you get it, and it's only a 1.25 duration, it would take some serious game sense and the right character to make this become a completely game-changing item. The only person who could realistically make a game-changing play with this amount of time would maybe be Lash, but if he is stunned, then he's not likely to be in a position to use it that well. If you can think of an example when 1.25s (or even like 2 seconds with a bunch of duration items) would be game-changing, I'd like to hear it.

You're forgetting the very simple fact that if you have it and have it off cooldown, mo and holliday, paradox and infernus, wraith and paige, all these characters no longer can use their ult on you in 1v1 situations

If you're a frontliner this is a mandatory pick up to avoid getting completely obliterated by mo ult and this item is a 1.6k soul upgrade to reactive barrier!

If I play a m1 carry I would always have this item on me if it's only tier 3 as it will save my ass in more situations than it should for a tier 3

Though I do appreciate your points, this does seem like plays off this item procing would be a gamble but the ability to shut down a lot of ults is still important to be aware of!

I see the confusion, unstoppable would proc after the stun duration. So you would still get stunned for x seconds but afterwards you would get unstoppable. So all of these people would still be able to use their ultimates. What wouldn't work here for example, is if Paige used knockdown and then used captivating read. Knockdown would still stun you, but you wouldn't get stuck in a captivating read, because you'd be unstoppable after the knockdown wore off.

It would still be a good counter item to a lot of stun combo heroes like Bebop and Ivy. Bebop would be able to hook you but not uppercut you away, Ivy would be able to stun you but not slow you and trap you with vines.
