Some new Ideas for Unique Melees and Overall Melee Interstions in Gameplay.
Yamato: Her Crimson Slash is Very similar to Light Melee atack in terms of Damage and Speed so i suggest to Develop this Similarity, also she still needs scaling from Melee Damage.
Activating Crimson Slash Empowers next Melee Atacks. So skill is considered as Melee Atack and deal Additional Melee Damage.
Light Melee Form: Same as Current Version but with less Range and Effects works only on single target.
Heavy Melee Form: increased Cast time, Increased Range and Damage, works on all Targets in Range and can be Parried to ignore damage similar to Viscous Puddle Punch.
This will give a bit More Depth in Yamatos Simple Gameplay by giving her Unpredictable Mid Fight Option.
Shiv as Shiv he needs to Slash enemys in Melee.
Light Melee: is a Stab with Knife, one that on Shiv chest, applyes First skill bleed and goes on Cooldown. On cooldown Light Melee is fast slices.
Heavy Melee: is Chop with his main Weapon, i hope it gets Little Redesign to make it look similar to Butcher Knife, that consumes all First Skill stacks applyed on Target and deal Burst Spirit damage for every Stack. If there was no Bleeding stacks it applly 1 and also goes on cooldown.
This will give Shiv Natural reasons to Land Melee atacks
Drifter as Famous Murder with Bloody hands needs to Rip enemys in Melee Even More.
To put in short its Billy OLD passive with Upgrade
First Melee Atack on Isolated Target Restores Drifters Ammo and Heals him. This effect has Cooldown per target and it Refreshes after Landing First Skill/Rend. So with this Drifter have at least 2 situation to go for Melee Atacks than gonna be Rewarding and Satysfying.
Since Drifter Shoot Blood restoring ammo by directly Choping enemy body is Logical, and Heal logical just because he is Vampire. His 3 ap Upgrade on Rend can be Reworked, anyway its not that interesting.
Billy: I cant accept How he uses Melee Atacks, and Also again his Bat must be 1 size Bigger to finnaly Bring Impactfull Feeling of using it. And change his Heavy Melee Animation to normal 2 handed Smash.
Rework of his Passive for Melee Atacks.
Wrecked status can also be Applyed by shooting and Shooting already Wrecked enemys boost Billy next Melee Damage up to certain numbers. While Blasted Active Melee Atack on Wrecked Target deals 50% of damage on Enemy Parry, but Billy is NOT STUNNED, instead of Stun Billy Bashdown and All melee Atacks Disabled for Short time and gun Goes on Reload or Losing Big % of ammo. Rebuttall Lowers Unparryable Damage %.
I thinks this kind of Passive Can be Balanced. Heavy Melee becomes Finishing and Impactfull atack, and Succesfull Parry is still Punishing but allows to Continue fighting, instead of Insta Death.
Since Drifter got his Changed Passive, there new way to Billy gain Bonus Max HP: Billy gets percentage gonus to his Max HP for every Wrecked target While Blasted is Active
Lash: As Pit Fighting Champion he must be Great and Unique in Melee Combat
Heavy Melee Atack from Air Must Be with Little Dive and deal more damage. Since it got Dive, range becomes lower, to land it Lash need to Choose Right Height and Distance.
Ground Strike Must be Different if it Casted not in Air. Wide Leg Kick with Small Dash that slows target, because it Techicaly different skill damage is different, dash distance is Slightly lower than Heavy Melee. And Skill MUST have Melee Scaling.
This gives Lash some Depth in Melee Combat by adding Impactfull Melee Atack and some Combo Option.
Abrams: Every in game quote mentions his Strong Hands while there Litteraly Nothing Unique about it Gameplay wise, despite 2 Stuns that not related to Melee Atacks.
Melee Damage Scaling from his HP. Shoulder Charge Damage Scales from Melee Damage. And his Heavy Melee got less Dash Distance with More Damaging Range with Visuals Indication of course.
So Abrams got Heavier and More Dangerous Melee in cost of some Mobility. Also he can be First Hero with Another Heavy Melee Animation.
