I received this error while matchmaking. I was in sandbox whilst queuing and received the "Cannot enter matchmaking" error pictured but no rejoin match button was available, as seen in 4th screenshot. After restarting the game I attempted to rejoin but received the error quoted in title. I then received a matchmaking penalty for my failure to connect.
299 games played and not had any such connection issues previously, no other connectivity issues currently with other programs and no VPN or any such running.

Hi, I am getting this same error specifically after a game of viscous in street brawl. I tried clearing the cache and verifying the game files but no success. Were you able to find a solution to this issue?

Hi, for me this was a one-off non-reproducible issue I could only hazard a guess was related to unfortunate timing of me entering sandbox whilst in a matchmaking queue. However if you have not already seen Yoshi posted in the official discord at 19:41 GMT (2 minutes before your reply here) that there were ongoing outages which will almost certainly be the cause of your issue.
