Deadlock – Patch 6437 Feedback (LATAM Player)
LATAM Player – Ascendant 3
~1300 matches | 3GB VRAM GPU
I’m writing this as structured feedback because, in my opinion, this is one of the worst patches in a long time.
I’ve been playing since early builds (when the game had 4 lanes) and completed events like the Christmas challenge, so this comes from long-term engagement.
Please prioritize stability and matchmaking improvements in the next patch.
There are games where the skill gap or team composition makes the result feel heavily one-sided from the start, and others that feel significantly easier right after. This creates the perception that matchmaking is not consistently aiming for balanced games.
Whether this is due to MMR distribution, party differences, or other factors, the experience for the player is that match quality varies too much.
Suggestion:

Major Issues
1. Performance & Stability- Frequent crashes across high-end, mid-range, and low-end GPUs
- Bugs across the current map (both large-scale fights and smaller interactions)
- These issues feel widespread, not isolated cases
- Consistently unbalanced matches
- Smurfs are very common
- Queue times reaching up to 6 minutes
- Strong language barrier with Brazilian players
- Noticeable toxicity and racism in matches
- Lack of tools to mitigate these problems
- Meta heavily dominated by recently buffed heroes
- Lack of consistency in balance (large swings between patches)
- Certain nerfs hurt specific playstyles (e.g., Abram for low FPS players)
Long-standing Issues (Still Unresolved)
- Inconsistent matchmaking
- Weak learning curve support (lack of in-match guidance/reinforcement)
- The game does not communicate when a match has very low win probability
- Reactive balancing instead of stable long-term tuning
Missing / Requested Content
- Alternative game modes
- Community-created content
- PvE modes (e.g., tower defense using heroes)
- Experimental modes (races, challenges, etc.)
Positive Notes
Despite all this, Deadlock:- Feels polished at its core
- Is genuinely fun
- Has moments of very good competitive balance

Matchmaking Transparency (Additional Feedback)
Another important issue is how predictable some matches feel in terms of outcome.
Suggestion:
- Provide more transparency about match balance (e.g., estimated win probability or match quality indicator)
- Improve consistency so matches feel competitive more often, not swing between extremes
