My favorite item in the game is Magic Carpet but buying it is really hard; and making an easy way to build into Magic Carpet might make the item too strong. If Magic Carpet becomes good and everyone starts buying it, the item is no longer fun. My idea is for a T3 item that is objectively worse than Majestic Leap and Warpstone, but the trade off is it builds into Magic Carpet. That way in tough games I can still have a little fun even if I can't get enough souls to afford Carpet.
You cannot turn left or right on the Chariot, but you can go up and down. Maybe it would also have a longer summon duration, or maybe you aren't immune to slows. Maybe the Chariot could be tuned way down and made a T2, that way when you upgrade to Carpet you would still have to commit 4800 souls. All that stuff would have to be tested out though.
Also, unrelated, but if you charge a Heavy Melee on the Magic Carpet it should get a 0.5s stun or something and knock people way up in the air like Paige ult. That would be really funny.
