while at short range, splitshot seems to work fine with paradox carbine, timestopping and damaging the first target hit by any of the split shots, at longer range (~40 meters) splitshot will completely disable any effect of carbine, both the damage and the cc. This distance does not get increased by long range/sharpshooter
