He did this to all of our walkers though, I don't think that applies to every case of what he did.Had to download match id to watch, this isn't really a sinclair issue, it's a backdoor protection issue. The clip you show is really cherry picked, as wave was at walker 5 seconds before it starts. The reason he drops it to zero is because backdoor protection is dropped. I do think he does way too much damage to walkers though. I don't want to see spirit damage nerfs imposed, but on him specifically just make vexing bolt do -20% to walkers imo.
Backdoor protection is on a timer, forgive me because I'm not sure what that timer is currently but it's super lenient. It's gone through a few iterations now, where at one point if your wave was cut you had ~3 seconds to deal damage before protection was back which felt awful, currently I believe it's too long, feels like 15 seconds or so until it kicks back in, might be even longer. And yes, the wave doesn't need to be actively attacking the walker, just needs to make the walker turn to them for even 1 frame to de-activate the protection. From what I saw in the vod the walkers just had their protection dropped; I only looked at the mid walker and the 1st side walker getting taken last night.So I was watching the match, and came to the conclusion that backdoor protection is dropped once a creep comes somewhat close (basically as soon as you can 'see' the walker) and it doesn't come back unless another walker blows up like the middle one at 14:40 (gave protection for the outer ones). Seems like it's broken/not updating for some reason, unless this is somehow intended?
