Shiv's Bloodletting prevents him from being executed by his Killing blow

If you try to execute Shiv with his Killing blow his bloodletting prevents him from being executed and leaves him on a sliver of hp until his bloodletting kills him. I noticed this on matches where I was Sinclair and I would use his Killing blow on him and he wouldn't die from it at the execute threshold

i think that's working as intended. he defers damage, and i guess he defers the damage from execute but it just takes a second to kill him, like with geist swap

I play shiv and this is a known interaction, but it should not work in this way in my opinion.

In Dota when playing Axe and using his execute, you bypass all forms of protection except linken's sphere. - Shallow Grave, False Promise, and Borrowed Time are abilities which functionally make a character invincible by deferring, preventing, or inverting damage and even those do not prevent the execute. I expect the same kind of interactions from deadlock considering the games share DNA

Will clarify that you can't bypass the Linken's Sphere simply because you never apply Cull in the first place, not because it actually defends you from the HP% threshold of the Cull. Like how Counterspell works, basically

Also Dota is just good to look at in general because it has 20 years of looking at why making it work this way is stupid and doesn't work. More games should be willing to do that
