Hello again, I'm back. I think this might be my favorite hero concept, and you all like him too :D

Backstory:
Cid is a cynocephalus, which is a species that have the head of a dog and the body of a man (I definitely recommend looking into them a little to better understand them. https://www.gods-and-monsters.com/cynocephalus.html)

Anyway, Cid is a missionary for the Eastern Orthodox Church. He's lived a peaceful life spreading the word of god mainly in North and Central America. Sadly, he suffers from manic episodes, hearing voices and hallucinating things that are not there. He finally snaps, claiming that God, or who he thinks is god, has told him that the Earth is plagued with evil and he must weed it out from within. He was doing mission work in Tijuana when that happened, where he first unleashed his wrath onto the people there, killing people he claimed bore a deep evil within whilst also saving others. His infamy only grew as he traveled through Mexico and more down south, purging more people that he saw as sinful. It is unclear whether some of these people were actually bad, indicating that he might have killed some innocent bystanders as well. But in his eyes, he was doing the Lords work.

When he learns of the patrons and the ritual in the Cursed Apple, he treks his way there, determined to summon them for one thing and one thing only. To ascend into a god so he can fully wipe the world of all its evil. He will make the world a better place in his eyes as it should.

Abilities:
(1. Holy Water) Throw a bottle of holy water onto a enemy causing massive spirit damage. If thrown at a ally, it heal them slightly, Sort of like Kelvins frost grenade.
(2. Savior)
Form a trinity on a ally or yourself, which will increase you bullet and spirit resistance greatly and slowly regenerate your health faster. Once the trinity runs out or breaks, it will grant another health boost to yourself and allies near you and cause spirit damage to enemies if they are close enough.

(3. Mountain) Move the earth from below, which will cause sharp, jagged rocks to jut out. If enemies are in its radius, it will cause knockback and enemies directly underneath it will be rendered immobilized.

(4. Smite) Wherever you're aiming will have lightening strike down from above, causing massive damage to enemies. You have three shots of this, so make them count. The lightening bolts will also ricochet off enemies to other enemies if hit.

Character Design:
Cid's dog head resembles more of a Pharaoh Hound or a Xoloitzcuintli. He has reddish brown fur. His body is bare mostly, except for his tail, but you can see his fur growing back on his hands. He has long dog like nails on his fingers. His outfit is inspired by a mix of people, Ray McCall from Call of Juarez, Landon Rickets from RDR, and Angel Eyes from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
He wears a grayish blue jacket with a cream colored undershirt. He wears a chest plate that bores a big orthodox cross in the center. He has a front carry holster, paired with a light brown belt. His blue jeans and black cowboy boots are stained with dust from his travels. He also has spurs attached to his boots as well.

His weapon, Righteous Fury, is based on the LeMat Revolver. Just like the LeMat, it will have a alt fire similar to Shiv's, where it can blasts the 20 gauge under barrel, which will do a little extra damage. It won't cause any knockback though. On the end of the handle is a emblem of Saint Christopher, who was also believed to be a cynocephalus.

Cid believes that what he's doing is truly good, and in the name of God. He talks with the most upmost seriousness about his plan to the others. He's quick to judge and believes he can sense when someone is truly good or not, but his mental state sometimes clouds his judgment. He'll also quote bible verses that are catered to each hero he kills

  • Cid tells Vindicta to tell let go of her revenge plan, saying she can still be redeemed but she denies him.
