Scout Cleaver + Sandman Combo

I am a long time TF2 enjoyer and I was very sad when the Cleaver Sandman Combo got nerfed.
Maybe we can get it back in Deadlock as part of a Heros kit.

I can imagine a "vintage" baseball player kind of hero.

Abilities
1. Touch base: Added movementspeed for X Seconds. Sliding prolongs this for Y Seconds to a maximum of Z Seconds.
2. Cleaver: Throw Cleaver, with damage depending on flight distance. Adds bleed (Does additional Damage to stunned targets.)
3. Catch: Maybe something like the Backplast from the Pyro in TF2, but with a single projectile? Or just "negate" a projectile by catching it in a glove

Ult: Charge based, Take out baseball bat to yeet ball. Slows on hit and stuns after flying for treshhold distance.

Melee: Baseball bat obviously
Main weapon: Scattergun type? Maybe something more like the fan? So small clip with fast reload.

Had this hero idea aswell awhile ago, but couldnt come up with something up would really like, tried to come up with a primary meele hero with bat attacks and a very slow coach gun on his right mouse button. And with your ult, with maybe a witch doctors stun that bounces of people heads chain stunning them. And couple of gap closering attacks like Lash + Majestic leap, with a strong bat attack, but this is kind of what Lash has. I like your concept and similarity, maybe you can make this work? Food for thought.

I really would like to see a scout yankee hero in this game lol.
For the 3rd ability i think theres not enough projecles that could be negated, but i fancy the idea throwing back Lady Geists bombs and knives at her. We really need a reflect type of ability so bad.
 
Yeah true, projectiles are not as well defined and regularly used as in TF2.

Although I am a big fan of cask I don't like it for this as I see the Hero as a Single Target Menace. So stun cleaver nuke boy, taking on the big boys like the Scout in his "Meet the Scout". Maybe he could have a Sandwich as his 3: "Squat down to eat a sandwich restoring some health and 2 stamina." :D
 
Sandman would be a great charged ability. Upgrades could include longer stun time, ricochet effect (for extra damage OR to spread the stun out?). High skill cap with the projectile effect, similar to landing a long range shiv/haze knife.

You've also got crit/dodge sodas which could charge with movement like in TF2 (Similar to how rage on shiv charges with damage), or just regular time-based stuff. Upgrades would be stuff like longer-duration, strong effects, cooldown (the usual).

Milk for team damage lifesteal. Cleaver is a bit too much like Shiv's knives so maybe not that one. Upgrades are pretty straightforward here too.

Passive ability could be mini crit/crit damage, perhaps target slow? There's a lot you can do here, and integrating crit damage into his main weapon would be a nice way to add crit SFX as a throwback. There's also stuff like his movement - double jumps are one of Scout's iconic abilities and having a hero with super high basic mobility would be awesome.

Ultimate abilities are the hard ones to think of, but to tie it into the sandman's taunt which is an insta-kill swing with a massive windup, you could do something similar with a big charge time and area swing to do a large spirit-damage with stun. Hard to land, but a stunned hero with your charged baseball into a big ol' SMACK with the bat would be a satisfying gank/initiator combo.
