If Rem assigns a helper to break either a crate or a golden idol, then Rem shoots said object while the helper is moving towards it, it will roll the chances for drops twice. The first time when Rem himself breaks it, then a second time when the helper "breaks" it, despite the object already being broken. This allows Rem to increase his chances of getting souls from crates, or potentially even get double from the same crate. This also works with the golden idols, allowing Rem to get more permanent buffs than he should be able to get.
