hey, so my issue here is that my rank has never moved.
i have been stuck in initiate 2 since ive downloaded the game, it has now been about a month, i've been stomping noobs every single day... while some people might enjoy that, i play the game because the movement is cool and i wanna try to get better at it all, not to go stomp noobs every day... and from what i can tell, i am not the only one who has had this happen to, seen quite a few players who i thought were really good that just... were not in high ranks... i use tracklock/statlocker to track people's skill ratings just to keep track.
few notes :
my rank has never changed after the initial placements as far as i know
my win rate is slightly below 50%, it was worse at the start because i was new and bad, its been going up every day
my main has 68% win rate (celeste, 52 matches, 31 wins, about 67.7%, rounded out to 68%)
my skill rating with celeste has been the only thing thats been moving (IT WENT DOWN AFTER A WIN??? its now "low compared to skill level", it was "high compared to skill level" before the game i won... with MVP at that...)
my second main, Silver has pretty low WR which has been going up recently after learning movement techs (im admittedly not the best on her but i usually do better than most my team anyways)
i played 1-3 games on about half the roster just to test them out with mixed results (except Rem, apparently im "high compared to skill level" on him or whatever...)
so, here's my suggestion : fix ranking system. matchmaking is not fun for anyone if me and others who seem to be stuck like i am, are just stomping them when they just downloaded the game... its not fair for them and its not fun for me... likely not fun for them either im not gonna lie...
