Hello,
I recently submitted a bug report regarding my friend experiencing stretched character textures in the game. After searching through related discussions, I might have found the cause.
In my previous report https://forums.playdeadlock.com/threads/character-texture-stretching-issue-in-deadlock.55006/, I mentioned my friend's processor model—Intel Pentium Gold G6400 with integrated UHD 610 graphics. Later, I found another thread https://forums.playdeadlock.com/threads/character-stretching-visual-bug.28919/ where the user also had an Intel UHD 620. Additionally, there is another report https://forums.playdeadlock.com/threads/character-texture-bug.34074/, where the author does not specify their processor, but judging by the blurry image, it appears that no dedicated GPU is present. If you have the means to check the processor model of that user, I am almost certain it is also some version of Intel UHD graphics. There is another thread: https://forums.playdeadlock.com/thr...-4600-igpu-i5-4460-integrated-graphics.22115/
I believe this is the root cause of the issue. Of course, one solution could be to recommend that these users buy a dedicated GPU. However, my friend is getting 50-60 FPS in the game, which is quite playable. If not for this frustrating bug, Deadlock could be perfectly enjoyable even on low-end PCs
