Pressing 'refresh builds' repeatedly lags game

Repeatedly mashing the 'refresh builds' button on the shop screen can cause a performance drop. See video.

Previous video does not demonstrate it well, here is another example. I was mashing click the whole time my cursor was over the button. The frame drops and stuttering even lasted a few seconds after the menu is closed.
