Not getting priority heroes despite those heroes not being in the games

There is a really bad bug after the update like half an hour ago where you won't get your top priority heroes despite those heroes not being in the game. I just queued two matches in a row with McGinnis top prio (Ivy and Paige white prio) and I didn't get McGinnis either game. And there was no McGinnis in either of those games so it's definitely bugged. The same happened twice to my friend. Several other people in our games reported not getting their priority hero despite those heroes not being in the game.

UPDATE: I just tried to trick it by putting Paige and Ivy on top prio and McGinnis on lowest (white) prio. I got McGinnis. There's no Paige or Ivy in the game. So it's definitely a bug. Really bad ngl

apparently it's a thing they implemented where priority means nothing. hope they revert it soon lol.

seems to only be street brawl, but i experience it too, seems to be the latest update

Street brawl is VERY hero dependent. I have a 75% win rate because I just choose OP heroes, they did this to make it more balanced.

This just feels like a terrible change. I've used priority for the longest time to basically be an order of what heroes I want. With Street Brawl now, I find it too often that I get my 3rd choice with no priority despite nobody taking my first or second choices. It takes away too much choice that the player is given. It'd be better if choosing priority was removed entirely.

Yeah, had only Rem on highest priority and got other characters despite no one else playing as Rem. That's very annoying. It worked well before. And I don't play Street Brawl.
