Stop putting new players into any lobbies higher than Initiate for the love of fucking God. Every single time they are placed, they get completely fucking stomped because they don't know what they are doing. Why would you setup a system that presumes anything else. IF it's a fear of smurfs, start them at Initiate then quickly rank them out, not the exact inverse. You're going to have far more genuine new people who are dogshit then people smurfing on alts.
New players getting completely dog walked for 5 games before they derank is far more likely to cause people to drop the game then a smurf excelling for 1.
