Always thought some sort of self-root/movement reduction but you keep the position of where your at is really interesting. Maybe have Metal Skin also make you super heavy and not move that much while also giving your movement resist like how Fury trance disables stamina but increases spirit resist.
Idea comes from Metal Mario and it having gravity effects and being heavy and slower.
This also comes at the peak of the new recent Mina tech with the railgun/charge up of the gravity drop from the umbrella usage.
