I think we need more melee resist items for heroes that are not frontliners. atm only option is jugger.

If you don't play in close combat, then you should already have some items or escape abilities. Otherwise, you have some kind of healing or resist. The best option for everyone is, of course, parrying.
Perhaps there could be some kind of item in the game that we can use to mitigate 1-2 melee attacks, but these should not be resist value. Something conditional or temporary, like barriers.
The point is the melee resist works all the time. Having it means that you are ready to take blows. This is something, that frontliners can do.
