metal skin does not block hazes ult spirit dmg

Hello,
Haze's ultimate reads as the following:
Enter a flurry, firing your weapon at nearby enemies with perfect accuracy and added spirit damage.
This means that haze is shooting bullets during her ult that are imbued with spirit damage.
Since metal skin makes the player immune to bullets, theoretically you should not suffer any dmg from hazes ult while the item is active.
Ingame however, the player still receives the spirit damage part of haze's ult while the bullet damage is correctly nullified.

I think that this is an oversight and needs to be corrected/streamlined. Similar abilities such as wraith's full auto do not inflict any (spirit) damage either when metal skin is active.

Regards!

The item only blocks bullet damage, not spirit.
No, you are not getting my point here. Per description the item makes the player immune to bullets. Meaning that no bullets can reach the player and that no added effect to any bullets should penetrate metal skin either.

If this is not the intended effect, the item description should be updated accordingly. Then metal skin should not block any spirit damage received from wraith's 3 and other abilities either.

It would make metal skin an even more useless item though since it's been already nerfed a lot. It comes with a movement reduction already, no longer grants immunity to melee attacks and due to its cost it is inferior to items such as reflective barrier and overall less versatile as items that can help in similar scenarios such as warp stone/ethereal shift etc

No this is fully intended, bullet dance used to NOT have spirit damage added and would instead just add extra bullet damage, and because of that metal skin pretty much made Haze unable to deal damage. They added spirit damage specifically so you can't keep hugging Haze in her ult, this is a fully intended feature and you can even see the bullets are laced with purple spirit stuff. It was also a necessary buff as Metal skin used to hard counter Haze as a character and make her unable to deal damage unless she was meming with dagger alchemical fire builds.

If this is intended, they should streamline the effect so that wraith's 3 (and vindictas 2?) still deal spirit damage when metal skin is active. Right now, metal skin's effect applies inconsistently.

I don't fully agree with the countering haze argument, since metal skin takes a vitality slot and makes it harder to escape the aoe and only lasts 3,5 secs of her ult anyways.
But this is just my personal opinion so maybe I'm in the wrong here.

All the problems are inconsistencies and ambiguous description. Another discussion point I found is that it does not block Silencer, Spiritual Overflow, Burst Fire etc.

In my opinion, they should change the metal skin's description to 'immune to bullet damages' (maybe add 'not immune to bullet effects') and not block Vindicta's 2 and Wraith's 3.

Yep, same with infernus's afterburn. His bullets won't do damage but his afterburn will still proc and you'll take spirit damage.
