US East player. Probably 60-70% of my games are in EU or Russia servers. Its very easy to tell by the ping, I keep the ping on at all times:
East coast - 9ping
West coast (I assume)- 19 ping
EU - 79-150 ping
In games with 79+ ping most players are speaking other languages/have thick accents, their names are often in other languages too which is how I can tell. They often usually ask why I'm in an EU or Russian server if I use my mic. The high ping makes it much very difficult to melee/parry and deny souls. Usually play between 6-10PM EST
