Matchmaking ban while in waiting in queue due to internet drop

So, I was just waiting in queue, and my internet dropped. I tried to cancel the queue, but it gave an error because it couldn't contact the GC, so I remained in queue.

My internet came back on, and after a minute or two while in sandbox mode, I got a notice saying that I was banned from matchmaking for 24 hours and I will have to win 4 low prio games.

If the game client doesn't send a heartbeat when a game is found for them, they should be removed from the queue, instead of treating it like an abandon. Encountering this unjustified suspension feels really crappy to me.

Had the same happen to me twice today. First for 15 minutes when my pc crashed the moment I started queue, which was fine. Now I can't play during the only time I have coz im banned for 2 hrs due to my internet dropping during queue. Feels terrible.

Had the same issue as well. banned for 15 minutes after reconnecting the other week. Then while queuing today it banned me even thought he match hasnt started.
