Low Memory Detected

Each time I launch the game it states that low memory is detected which isn't true. I have no performance issues.

Windows 11 10.0.22631 Build 22631
Intel i5-12600k
I doubt GPU driver matters for this

Same here. Not sure if this started appearing for me after an update or after I changed something on Windows (page file).

This is happening to me as well since the new patch. I have a "pretty" fancy comp that has 16gb of ram and I opened up task manager and im not coming close to the max memory. New patch is hella buggy.

If I restart my computer its alright.

BUT the bigger issue is if you try and queue for a game after this message pops up, my game crashes on start and it doesnt restart the game. When I do get it, the game has already been going and I'm outside the map and have to walk into the main game. It doesn't recognize im not in game at all and starts a game anyways.

This has happened to me if I have been running Chrome for several days without restarting my PC. In my case, it's an issue of Chrome using up all the memory.

I suppose it is indeed something with the latest versions, because as you've said, they're very buggy. I'm getting all kinds of weird issues during matches. Last match had my camera permanently stuck on my character's shoulder (turning the game into first person with terrible FOV), while another had my Bebop ult SFX playing forever (had to listen to over 45 minutes of BZZZ BZZZ BZZZ BZZZ) 😆

Also have 32gb and 4090. This just started for me about a week ago. I reliably get the warning with 20+ GB ram free

In my case this was related to pagefile settings on windows. Raising the pagefile limit turns this warning off. It would be helpful if the warning mentioned that instead of just "system memory". I forget the pagefile even exists and probably many people have never even heard of it.

This is odd. Paging file memory is virtual memory so it should appear as the same thing as physical memory to an application as far as I'm aware. Windows uses it to store lesser used information in the physical memory when it's full so that space can be used by active applications. Hopefully this will help Valve fix the issue. Mine went away on its own, seemingly.
