After the game green boxed and they left my friends client believed we were still in a party and I was only able to successfully relaunch after they kicked me out of said party. When trying to join their party again the game froze once again and had to manually shut it down but was able to relaunch with no issue.
It's important to mention that each time it's the steam client that blackscreened first and then force closed which I'm guessing left the game waiting for some steamapi that never came.
