Linux performance issues, setting and modding not helping.

Ever since picking up the game recently I've been having a ton of performance issues, with the game running at 40fps at most and going down to as low as 5fps after using hero abilities. Doesn't matter how I change the settings, the resolution, or install mods to make the graphics worse, there's just no improvement at all. I've ran the game on different versions of proton and that didn't help either. I'm not really sure how to make this better but I really wanna make this playable cause it looks really fun.

Here are my specs:
OS: Linux Mint 22.3-Cinnamon 64-bit(kernal 6.17.0-14)
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-core processor x 6
GPU: GeForce RTX 2060
Memory:16gb
SSD:1TB

I've also started having issues after a recent update. It was running fine for the most part until around the last month. The game will start up laggy but usually levels out, however it will sometimes persist throughout the whole play session. Just in the lobby i will get massive lag spikes, and heroes will take a few minutes to load.
