Items I think could build into others with explanation

Backstabber is a really fun item to use that just doesnt hit as hard as the game goes on, i feel it could build naturally into Shadow Weave as I feel it fits the theme well maybe having the bleed damage get scaling from boons or something.
Similarly I think Torment Pulse could build into Scourge like how Tesla Bullets builds into Capacitor with it pulsing to 3 instead of 2

Yes, it would be nice if Backstabber had its own modified version and was improved with blessings.
However, I still like this item; it fills its niche as an inexpensive and powerful item.

But I disagree about Torment Pulse, it is already very powerful and only needs to be strengthened if the developers significantly lengthen the game.
