interaction with fire rate + lifesteal

sorry for the channel spam but ive been meaning to post a couple of things regarding itemization

im noticing a shift to some more gun centric builds which honestly makes me happy the flexibility with items u have in this game but my issue is sustain. rn there's some pretty baffling interactions with fire rate and bullet lifesteal like yamato and shiv 1vXing team fights with a due to rushing frenzy, frankly i dont think this is about the items individually, sure intensifying mag amd burst fire are strong but they arent gonna win the game for u

what makes these kinds of gun builds problematic to me is the lack of a cap with the sustain. for example, healing booster + leech caps lifesteal (for the most part) at 40%, and i think some fire rate items may need a -X% on bullet lifesteal just to avoid otherwise the gun stacks from intensifying siphon so much health that u cannot die, then add vamp burst atop that

i dont know if capping lifesteal will "solve" this and i dont even know if this is an issue to solve persay, it just feels like i spirit preference player dont scale as hard and cannot win fights with burst dmg especially when all the hp i took off is being taken back from me as a consequence of trying to confirm

I like how you spot the problem almost immediately, yet still propose incredibly janky solutions that won't work as effectively as nerfing frenzy/the problem children abusing it.

That's because spirit items and abilities has received nothing but straight up nerfs since July.
 
frenzy definitely needs a merf but im not tryna state what needs nerfs and more so what i feel like could be buffed or reconsidered, personally im weary of nerfing items unless things are really cooked and imo frenzy as it is has it's place as a strong t4 on anyone
but idk of it's too strong

also id like to say ik nothing of what the game needs, im just a player with preferences adding their two cents

Frenzy is literally the reason why gun builds feel nigh-unkillable. When even Yamato is picking up frenzy and running down everybody with very little ways of stopping her, you know that you have a really broken item on your hands. Trying to nerf lifesteal items would hurt a lot more heroes than just the frenzy abusers (if they even feel a bump in viability at all).
