Intel CPU E-cores performance issue

On my Intel i5-13600kf, the game performs worse than expected unless the core affinity is set manually.

This isn't an issue unique to Deadlock but it would be nice to see it addressed, as currently (unless it's literally just me) the default experience of a 12th/13th/14th gen Intel user is going to be pretty poor.

I did some benchmarks to confirm, images attached.
I restarted the game between each test.
In Test 2, I tried using the launch option "-threads 6" however it doesn't seem to choose the first 6 as the performance is substantially worse.
In Test 3 and 4, I set the core affinity to 0,1,2,3,4,5 (the 6 P-cores).

Test setup:
Same replay, same in-game time (close as possible), same POV, no input
Graphics on lowest, render scale 33% to ensure a CPU-limited scenario

My specs:
Windows 11
i5 13600k (hyperthreading disabled)
4060ti
2x16 DDR5 6600MHz

EDIT: reuploaded graphs with consistent axes

Damn that is insane. I was wondering why the heck I was still getting only 120fps with 3 generations newer CPU and new GPU... I'll find out if this also works with hyperthreading.

I come back, I turn off affinity to only E cores (left the hyperthreading on and affinity on), averaging 170-180 fps now. Wow. Went from a i9-10900X to i5-12600K and wasn't expecting the same 120 fps my i9 got. GPU was also 1080 Ti -> 2080 Ti so I was really scratching my head there.

bumping for attention, it's rather annoying to have to manually affinity E-cores off every time I boot the game so I can have 50 more fps

Well I'll use process lasso for now. I bet it's gonna take a year for them to add what they added to CS2 without getting this directly on dev's eyes. 😭
