Insane Net Jitter/Lag (Had Since October 2025)

I've had really bad unplayable net jitter/lag since last october. Whenever the previous 6 heroes were released I started playing again and was having a pretty good time, though at some point at random after a month or two the game just had this horrible lag to it. I couldn't really play games and I've tried alot to get it to work. I really want to get back in the game since the new 6 heroes are here too. What's weird though is that I only have this horrible lag only on Deadlock. Not on any other game I play. Just Deadlock.
I've tried :
- restarting my internet,
-Server browser pings/minute - tried the lowest, worked but stopped after a little bit.
(the settings at the bottom of in game steam settings)
-lowering my settings (sounds a tad strange but I heard it helped some other people)
-closing everything but Deadlock (maybe it needs more stuff to be down so it can run better???)

still open to suggestions and trying new things, not very knowledgeable about the subject but I really wanna get back in the game and it's very frustrating when it just happened out of the blue and I had default settings before so.. not sure?

I am having the same problem, what I tried doing so far was updating my ethernet drivers. It seems to have very slightly helped, but it didn't fix the problem. I didn't have this issue until this update, it lasted only about a day, and it was fixed by a patch after that. It just returned now, but I don't know when because I only got home yesterday after being gone for a week.
My guess is it's probably best to look at solutions to net jitter in other source games? It might be a similar thing causing the issue, like outdated drivers. Let me know if you find anything that helps. Good luck!
