Not sure if this is the correct flair page. I finally got deadlock on my old 2020 personal gaming Acer Laptop. But there is something that left me stuck.
I downloaded a Nintendo Switch Controller Map system just for this game. However, before I get to enter the game, the steam system says that it cannot read my controller at all.
So I tried entering the game with mouse and keyboard. Upon entering the game and went to the system settings menu options. But when I get to the controller settings, I reconnected my Nintendo Switch controller wirelessly. It was able to read it for me to set the controller map scheme to deadlock.
However, upon exiting the controller mapping area, I suddenly lost track of my controller connection. It does not respond at all except for my mouse and controller.
I do not know what is going on here.
I had been following the Controller guide for Deadlock by a user named Ivanim of Flick stick vids on YouTube. Then I downloaded and selected the “Deadlock - Flick Stick Config by FSV (v2.0)” controller figuration. Even after downloading, deadlock just refuses to read my Nintendo switch controller.
What gives?
I never had that problem with Helldivers 2, Hollow Knight Silksong, etc. Even Slay The Spire 2 for its funky mapping still lets me play the game with my switch controller. Am I missing something?
