i9 14900k instability issues

I've had consistent game crashing issues that don't seem to have a direct cause, it's random throughout the middle of games or upon loading into a game.

As a side note it's crashed my PC on two occasions within the last hour, Event Viewer has nothing signifying it's an issue with hardware with my PC and no other games have caused this, I've run a memtest and checked the voltages on my PSU rails and all are fine/within normal ranges.

Hardware temps are fine as well, not peaking above 75c even under heavy load with the game open and other background applications.

Anyone else encountering a similar issue?

PC specs are;

i9 14900k with the Intel baseline profile applied,
RTX 3070,
32GB DDR5 @ 5600MHz.

I have an assumption. It may be different in your case, however...
I have a 14700k and I can safely say that this processor is extremely unstable. Without undervolting and manually setting AVX offset trotting, it is very easy to cause such symptoms in many modern application scenarios. I tried for a very long time to achieve stability on this processor and finally succeeded.
I recommend downloading OCCT and running a CPU test with AVX-512 instructions for 20 minutes. My stock settings crashing after minute)

Yeah I had a feeling it's going to be down to the CPU itself and less so the game, it's strange because a lot of other games are fine with the baseline profile that Intel released, I've updated the BIOS on my motherboard to support it and that resolved a lot of the crashing I had with other games.

I'll give your suggestions a try tonight and report back, ty!

I myself had such problems in dota 2 and csgo, while cyberpunk 2077 worked stably)

Still having the same issue, I've changed everything BIOS/CPU wise to be the recommended from Intel including the SVID to Intel Fail Safe and tried XMP enabled and disabled, no other games are crashing, only Deadlock.

I've tried the Vulkan rendering API as well, same problem.

I did have a similar issue with CS2 when it was ported over to Source 2 but I've not had any issues with CS2 for weeks, if not months.

You have 2 used DDR5 slots or 4?
