《Deadlock》Hero Concept: Tu Ling —— "The Painted Wall Fox Spirit" (Her exact name sounds similar to the father of computer science, Turing!)

Hero Role: High-Mobility Combo Assassin / Ranged Crowd Control / Terrain Alteration
Damage Type: Bullet & Spirit
Difficulty: ★★★ (Extremely High, involves 2D/3D perspective switching and puppet control)

I. Hero Lore / Background

In the Shanghai of the 1930s, Tu Ling was the most renowned top socialite navigating the glamorous foreign concessions. However, behind the neon lights, she is a Nine-Tailed secret envoy from the alternate dimension "Qingqiu" (The Realm of Foxes). The entrance to Qingqiu is a mural titled "Dead Wood Meets Spring," sealed within an ancient, dilapidated temple. As the "main battlefield" in New York over-extracts the Ley Lines (Spirit Energy), the global Ley Lines deplete, causing the "World Tree" in Qingqiu to wither rapidly. To save her homeland, Tu Ling crossed the oceans to this battlefield, bringing her magical artifact, the "Spirit Bone Fan," crafted from the branches of the divine tree. Every drop of soul she absorbs will turn into flower soil to nourish the ancient tree of Qingqiu, allowing the dead wood to bloom once again.

II. Base Stats & Weapon Mechanics

1. Base Stats

· Max Health: 500
· Health Regen: 1.5 / sec
· Move Speed: 7.4 m/s
· Stamina: 4 bars (Dash/Dodge/Double Jump consumes 1 bar)
ScreenShot_2026-03-17_150137_679.png
2. Weapon: Spirit Bone Fan
· Ammo Capacity: 12 rounds
· Single Fire Damage: 16.5 (Bullet Damage)
· Fire Rate: 2.5 rounds/sec
· Reload Time: 2.4 sec
· Projectile Traits: Swings the fan to launch crescent-shaped cyan wind blades, featuring travel speed and slight bullet drop. Fall-off range 18m → 45m.
· 【Reload Animation】: Tu Ling snaps her folding fan shut with one hand, flicks it backwards to shake off the lingering ink scent, and smoothly snaps it open again with a crisp mechanical clicking sound, revealing cyan runic glows sweeping across the fan surface.

3. Melee & Defense
· Light Attack (Q): 55 Damage. A quick lash with the fan bone, leaving a cyan spirit energy trail.
· Heavy Attack (Hold Q): 115 Damage. Charged spiral thrust. Upon impact, the long fan suddenly snaps open, bursting with pink peach blossoms and splashing ink effects.
· Parry (F): Blocks horizontally with the fan, manifesting a cyan Bagua shield pattern in front of her. A successful parry emits the crisp sound of traditional Chinese opera clappers and shakes down a shower of petals.

III. Abilities

1. Floral Vine Grapple —— [Key 1]

· Description: Throws the folding fan towards the crosshair, using Spirit energy to spawn a physical path woven from petals and cyan vines (lasts 10 seconds).
· Mechanics: Max length 20m. Aiming at a wall creates a standard diagonal zipline; aiming in mid-air creates a vertical ascending/descending rope. If thrown into a gap between two walls less than 12m apart, it weaves into a one-way curtain (Allies can see and pass through it; enemies' vision is completely blocked).
· Cooldown: 32 seconds.
· Upgrades:
o T1: +6 seconds duration.
o T2: [Mark Synergy] Enemies with the [Peach Blossom Mark] who touch the vine or curtain are Rooted for 1.2 seconds.
o T3: Ziplining no longer consumes stamina. Holding "Heavy Melee" while on the zipline performs a drop-smash (75 Spirit Damage), applying the [Peach Blossom Mark] directly to enemies in the AoE.

2. Mural Dive —— [Key 2]
· Description: When close to any solid wall, the side of cover, or her own "curtain", press to turn into an ink phantom and meld into the wall to move.
· Mechanics: Inside-wall move speed +20%, automatically reloads. The main body cannot directly attack enemies outside while inside the wall.
· Weakness: Consumes 0.5 Stamina bars per second. If the wall takes damage, the main body suffers 1.5x piercing damage. If hit by burst damage or hard CC, she is violently knocked out of the wall and staggered.
· Special Synergy: If Ability 3 ("Mirror Flower, Water Moon") is active, all of Tu Ling's actions inside the wall will be synchronized and performed by the "afterimage" outside the wall.
· Cooldown: 26 seconds.
· Upgrades:
o T1: Standing completely still inside the wall no longer consumes Stamina.
o T2: Upon leaving the wall, gain +2.5m/s Move Speed and 30% Bullet Lifesteal/Evasion for 4 seconds.
o T3: Detonating a [Peach Blossom Mark] on an enemy immediately reduces this ability's cooldown by 8 seconds.

3. Mirror Flower, Water Moon —— [Key 3]
· Passive: [Peach Blossom Mark] Landing 4 consecutive shots or 1 Heavy Melee applies 1 stack of the mark to the enemy. Tu Ling landing a melee attack on a marked target will detonate it, dealing 45 Spirit damage and restoring 1 Stamina bar.
· Active: Leaves behind a "Peach Blossom Afterimage" in place with 50% of her max Health, while the main body enters stealth for 1.5 seconds.
· Mechanics: The puppet mimics Tu Ling's movement, shooting, and melee attacks. [Pain Sync]: 35% of the damage taken by the puppet is transferred to the main body. If the puppet is destroyed, Tu Ling is forcibly evicted from her "Mural Dive" state.
· Cooldown: 42 seconds.
· Upgrades:
o T1: Cooldown -14 seconds.
o T2: When the puppet is destroyed, it Blinds enemies within 12m for 1.5 seconds and directly applies a [Peach Blossom Mark].
o T3: [Position Swap] Pressing the ability again during its duration consumes 1 Stamina bar to swap positions with the afterimage (if Tu Ling is inside a wall, she will teleport out instantly).

4. Dead Wood Meets Spring —— [Key 4 / Ultimate]
· Targeting Logic: Prioritizes the target within 15m who has the highest stacks of [Peach Blossom Mark] AND is closest to a wall/curtain.
· Description: Tu Ling turns into an afterimage and "slaps" the target into the wall, forcibly stripping away their 3D physical form and turning them into a 2D traditional water-ink painting that lasts for 7 seconds.
· Rules of the Painting:

  1. Perspective Shift: The trapped player enters a 2D side-scrolling perspective and cannot naturally regenerate Stamina.
  2. Tu Ling's Privilege: Tu Ling can enter the painting at any time using Ability 2 (Mural Dive) to perform 2D executions, or press 2 to jump out of the painting and return to the 3D battlefield to observe.
  3. Fragile Canvas: Outside players shooting the wall will deal proportional damage to the trapped player. If the wall takes 700+ burst damage in a short time, the painting is prematurely "torn", forcibly ejecting both players back to reality.
    · Cooldown: 145 seconds.
    · Upgrades:
o T1: While inside the painting domain, Tu Ling gains +20% Bullet Damage and Bullet Lifesteal.
    o T2: Cast range increased to 18m, cooldown -25s.
o T3: [Ancient Finale] If the target dies inside the painting, the wall will permanently bear the silhouette of peach blossoms. This area emits a "Divine Tree Aura": Allies gain 20% Cooldown Reduction (Accelerator), and enemies suffer -30% Movement Speed (Lasts until the next Ultimate cast or Tu Ling dies).
