[Hero] McGinnis Turrets! Need a buff on the HP

This hero can really shine more with some more hp on the turret's its should be increased 100% so from start it has 300 hp an every boon gives +20 instead of +10 or give it 50% of McGinnis Curent map health from start its 800hp half of that is 400 hp yes you can have close to 4k hp and that gives the turrent allmost 2k hp, because of the dps it has right now that should be a great option because the dps aint huge atm it can hurt if you got 5-7 out on the same area but then you are in the very late game anyway and should have a chance to kill some one, it aint like ya do 1k damge in a fe sec it still takes them a few sec to reach that point!


It's unfair it has so little hp early 150+/mid250+/late450max any hero can 3-5 shots them down like they are maded of butter they melt!! really a shame the dps on it could be better like 15-20% better but aint a nessery thing the hp on the orther hand really needs to be looked at.... anoying the enemy takes down the turret instantly because it has so low hp and gives gold!......

Anyway just a thought from some one who really loves turrets :)
 
I think they should just scale with hero HP. So whatever their base HP is, let's say it's 150, and you're HP is like 750, when your HP is 3000 theirs would be 600. And they can benefit from your resistances as well. This makes Turret McGuiness a little different build wise, wanting to go tanky green and high spirit.
 
Technically not the place for this kind of suggestion but:

300 would make Mcginnis unstoppable in lane, it's just too much HP. 150 is an okay baseline to keep them at for the various utility roles they serve.
Should they get more per boon, though? In the void of any other buffs, absolutely, but 20 is too much. I think 11 is a good baseline (From 480 max boon HP to 513), move the dps bonus of t3 down to t2 instead, and grant T3 a +4HP per boon bonus (15 per boon instead of 11, totaling a max 645). This would make turrets tankier in a dedicated build but still keep them fairly easy to clear otherwise.

Although honestly? I'd rather they just made the damn things land and turn faster, along with increasing the bullet velocity. They spend too much time doing nothing or missing that a couple hundred more health won't actually change how high-level players engage with them (instantly shutting down or walking away from them), but it will hurt more for lower skill players who still manage to struggle into them right now because target prioritization, counter items, and good positioning are generally lost on such folk (no offense).

Btw, once upon a time they did scale off Mcginnis' own HP, and they had more spirit resist (They currently have 35%), 1 extra charge built into T1, and higher dps, though they didn't have the 6 second spawning resist that they currently do. It was like 20 or 30% of Mcginnis', I think, it could reach over 1k hp if she bought the right items back then. Really rough for some heroes to clear, but still mindlessly easy for ricochet gun carries or spirit kudzu ivy. It's why giving them more health isn't necessarily going to do what they need by itself.
