Oscar - A Primordial Being Living as a Human in Deadlock

This is a rough concept for a Deadlock hero whose true form is an ancient, cosmic being that has taken on a human appearance. Any number values are just for example purposes of course. Also, I just like the name Oscar for a Deadlock hero, and there is no "O" named hero in the game yet.

Brief character description: Gurgazoth is an unfathomable entity from an outer plane that tries his best to blend in with the human species, identifying himself as Oscar. Humans think they are the conquerors, the apex predators, the pinnacle of millions of years of evolution. They think they can do whatever they want to their fellow man and animals, and to the very Earth that supports their existence. At times like this, Oscar's (literal) mask must come off, reminding them just how small and fragile their minds and bodies really are.

Weapon - Wrath of the Ancients
  • Hitscan weapon with 2 separate magazines that share the reload input. Left click fires weapon damage rounds and right click fires spirit damage rounds.
  • 11 starting ammo in both magazines
  • 2.44 bullets per second fire rate, 2.75 second reload
Ability (1) - Void State: Oscar temporarily abandons his corporeal form to recover his strength before inhabiting his human body again. Leaves behind a 'projection' at the ability cast location which he will return to that allies and enemies can see.
Void State has 3 second duration and can be cancelled early by pressing the input again. 30 second cooldown. While in the Void State Oscar:
  • Cannot be targeted/affected by ally or enemy abilities, items, damage, healing etc.
  • Heals 15% Max HP per second
  • Has "timer" effects paused until he returns and he cannot collect Souls (for example, his ability cooldowns, stamina recharge, his reload, the time durations of any items or effects applied to him before he enters Void State are paused until he returns. Meaning this ability does not "cleanse" you of any effects, and cannot be used to stall out debuffs etc.)
AP Upgrades:
- 1 AP - Allies within 30 meters of the Void State projection gain 30% bullet and spirit resist.
- 2 AP - After fully channeling Void State, Oscar's weapon deals double damage until the next reload.
- 5 AP - Casting Void State while at 100% HP and fully channeling it reveals all enemies to Oscar through walls for 8 seconds. Enemies are notified of the reveal for its duration.

Ability (2) - Eldritch Edict: Oscar shouts an ancient incantation at an enemy, cursing them and marking them for death. 45 second cooldown. 1 second wind-up animation, then shoots a projectile that travels 35 meters per second and has a max travel distance of 80 meters. A curse marked enemy:
  • Will be instantly killed after 20 seconds. Oscar is revealed to the curse marked enemy through walls and on the mini map for the duration of the 20 second timer
  • Must remove the curse by either - 1.) Dealing damage to Oscar that is equal to at least 30% of his Max HP using any combination of weapon, melee, ability or item damage or 2.) Return to the Base Fountain before the timer reaches 0 and stay inside it for at least 5 seconds. Oscar being eliminated by any player or entity while the curse mark is active will remove it.
AP Upgrades:
- 1 AP - Applies -20% bullet and spirit resist and -20% heal reduction to curse marked target.
- 2 AP - 40% Oscar Max HP damage required to remove the curse mark.
- 5 AP - 70% Oscar Max HP damage required to remove the curse mark. Landing body shots with Wrath of the Ancients reduces Eldritch Edict's cooldown by 0.5 seconds, headshots reduce it by 1 second.

Ability (3) - Arcane Intensity (Passive): Deal 5% increasing damage with your weapon when landing consecutive hits. Missing a shot or reloading resets the passive. [For example, first shot lands and does 70 damage, the next shot that lands will do 73.5, the next will do 77, the next will do 81, the next will do 85, the next will do 89 and so on, until missing a shot or reloading]

AP Upgrades:
- 1 AP - 20% fire rate increase. Eliminations and assists grant additional 2% permanent fire rate increase
- 2 AP - 30% Lifesteal headshots against enemy heroes. 2 consecutive headshots or 4 consecutive body shots on enemy heroes will return 1 round to the magazine (does not have to be on the same enemy hero)
- 5 AP - Consecutive hit damage bonus increased to 15%

Ability (4) - Abyssal Gaze: Oscar removes his mask, revealing an incomprehensible and otherworldly visage, causing his victims to suffer mental and physical agony. 150 second cooldown. 10 second channel duration. Area of effect is a cone shaped LOS originating from Oscar. Can be interrupted by hard CC effects. Oscar can still use his weapon and other abilities and fully move while channeling Abyssal Gaze. Enemies in the LOS:
  • Suffer 10% Max HP damage per second
  • Have their fire rate slowed by 40%
  • Cannot jump, slide or use stamina. Any ability that is considered a movement ability will be forced onto a 3 second cooldown, unless it is already on cooldown and the time left is greater than 3 seconds.
AP Upgrades:
- 1 AP - Enemies that stay in LOS for 4 seconds are stunned for 1s. Applies once per enemy
- 2 AP - Oscar gains unlimited ammo for his weapon for the duration of the channel
- 5 AP - Hides enemy HUD info after 2 seconds in LOS (ammo count, mini map, ability and active item cooldown icons, HP bar). Info will come back up after exiting LOS for 2 seconds
