"Everything will end someday. Let's make sure it doesn't happen overnight."

"1949? Well, let me find my top hat."

"The future is a far away land. Let's go there."

"Desperate, are we?"

Unselect voicelines:
"Okay, I have some space nazis to kick anyway."

"Sure, let me know if time stops working. Oh, right, you would die then, what a shame."

"I'm a time-controlling dinosaur in a coat. How high are your standards?!"

"Don't even dare to choose this smug show-off with a light bulb for a head."

Agents are created by the Timekeepers to interfere with events that threaten the timeline. Agent Rex arrived in New York to ensure that none of the heroes would ask the Patron for something foolish and time-threatening, like an eternal weekend.

Rex combines extraordinary cynicism and optimism. For him, the future is the most important thing, even in the form of war or an epidemic. He was specifically created by the timekeepers to avoid unnecessary questions and focus solely on preserving time from threats. He is unfamiliar with concepts such as compassion or fear. However, nothing brings him more joy than knowing that the sun will rise tomorrow, giving people a new opportunity to improve their pathetic lives. Or not, as they see fit.

He is designed to look "out-of-time" with a t-shirt, pants from 80-s and futuristic boots.

Agent Rex is a third "support healer with a large hitbox", joining Dynamo and Kelvin. He'll appeal to observant players with quick reflexes who enjoy punishing opponents for their stupidity. Rex's weapon passively speeds up the expiration of enemy channeled abilities, so be sure to focus on enemies like Haze, Kelvin, and Lady Geist. Tangled Continuum allows you to heal an ally in an unusual way – by attacking an enemy. We all love shooting at the enemy. Time Vortex will pull enemies in, slowing their clocks and speeding up yours, opening up new opportunities.

Finally, in the heat of battle, you can reverse time and become almost invulnerable. Your abilities also become reversed, and even more powerful. Similar to Dynamo and Kelvin, Rex can win any 6v6 teamfight by using this ability, but in 1v1 situations it becomes much less useful.

Rex uses a ghostly clock hand as a weapon. After a short wind-up, it releases a short-range beam of temporal energy. This is most similar to Bebop's laser.

Before we move on to the abilities, let's discuss the ultimate, as it affects them. Thematically, it's a reversal of time—everything starts working in reverse. Gameplay-wise, the ultimate does five things:
  • Healing deals damage, and damage heals. Congratulations, you're invulnerable, with the caveat that an enemy can cast a healing rite on you, and you have no way to get rid of it except by exiting the ultimate state. Even your regeneration works in reverse, dealing damage over time.

  • Your weapon heals instead of dealing damage. This makes sense thematically, and it prevents you from simply running under a tower while invulnerable and aging everyone to death with your little time ray.

  • Your abilities work in reverse and become much more powerful. And most of these buffs are aimed at mass healing and supporting allies. You no longer have any way to harm enemies while in your ultimate (see the previous point for reasons).

  • YOUR COOLDOWNS ARE INVERTED. The timers will keep growing until you exit your ultimate. It's worth considering a refresher. This is the price you pay for powerful abilities and the invulnerability.

  • Purely cosmetic effects - while sprinting you run backwards. Agent uses his wind-up to turn around when he starts shooting.

Ability 1 - Time sink, the picture is pretty self-explanatory

Ability 2 - Tangled Continuum

Normal version allows you to undo damage enemy deals - you can literally change the past with one click!

Reversed version allows you to reverse the enemy themselves - what is usual to you will be extremely confusing to them! All damage they deal is turned into healing now - this is how you can literally change the future with one click. Because it's backwards now

Warning!! While you are reversed all forms of healing will damage you instead!! So if you use reversed Tangled Continuum on a 80k Wraith, and she decides to immediately focus on you, she will simply heal you to death. This is intended as a counterplay

Ability 3 - Time Vortex

The normal version allows you to rush into a crowd of enemies, pull them toward you, and steal their cooldown rate—their options are limited now, while your abilities and items recharge faster. If you enjoy this type of play, you can immediately upgrade this ability - it will also steal health regeneration.

The inverted version will push enemies away instead of pulling them, creating a safe zone for your allies. While your allies are in the zone, they will take your cooldown rate and regeneration. But since you're reversed, this is actually beneficial. Remember, regeneration deals damage to you, and cooldown timers only increase, so getting rid of these inconveniences would be very welcome. This way, while you support your allies, they support you.

That's the whole kit, let me know what you think!!!

I'm also going to make a list of possible interactions with other heroes later, to explore the character and stuff

Look at the following extract above. Couldn't you argue (IN REVERSE MODE) that using the 2 on a healer who is going to heal their allies instead be hurting them?

As in, you throw it at an enemy Kelvin, he activates his ult, and he starts hurting all of his teammates inside it?

For time going forward, you could use it on a healer who just recently healed to undo their healing, no?

So to summarise, what could be added:
2 only affects enemies.
Forward 2 undoes recent damage and healing.
Backwards 2 turns future healing into damage (so supporters can accidentally "heal" their teammates to death), and future damage into healing (which then puts the rex in trouble because you can spray him down), which could be interesting because you can make a gun carry or a spirit carry instead targetting their own to heal, or end up hitting your team to heal them (which they may be in a middle of a burst or auto piloting, though they will change their strat if they realise this).

But then, let's suppose you have echo shard. You can NEGATE the gun/spirit carries healing. So basically, you forced a wraith/lash to heal his teammates (via reverse 2) (because you are well hidden, and your teammates are forward, so they are forced to heal the allies, because trying to damage the enemy team, will result in healing them, turning a carry into a support when affected with reverse 2), which then you echo shard the 2, and then you put it on a lash/wraith and suddenly the healing gets completely lost.

Ouch. Funny and interesting too.

If his ultimate is too confusing alternatively he could slow all enemies down and speed up all Allies in that zone for a cool Speedster moments like Quicksilver from X-men days of future past

maybe possible character interactions could refer to their life achievements like Kelvin's research on stuff being famous in the future. or infernus famous Bar

Update:
I think enemy healers with backwards 2 should be able to heal your allies to death - beyond just you.

I think undoing healing would be too much for one ability. Right now it's pretty simple - normal version undoes past damage, reversed version undoes future damage (by turning it into heal). And some people find this already confusing enough

I argue it is how you convey it - not the ability itself. How about this idea?

Forward 2 -> Undo recent healing and damage of an enemy.
Backwards 2 -> Enemy healing can damage anyone, their damage heals anyone. During this, Rex being healed hurts Rex, whilst being hurt heals Rex.

Yeah this reworked design looks much better. Sorry to say and please don't get mad at me for this but the prior ones at first looked like OC donut steal scalie self insert to me xd
I mean, yeah. It is a rough drawing. It does have that Deviantart feel to it. Which I ain't against, it comes out more of the higher quality ones. The newer one looks WAY more polished up.

don't be sorry - if you think that, there are probably millions of people who would say the same, and i can't argue with you all :D
