[Hero Idea] Pooka (Irish goblin)

I think it would be good to see more smaller heroes added to use the underground system not only to create more farm but conflict down there too.

Character name: Pooka

Insperation:
Name: Irish folklore, Pooka or (Púca) is known as a shapeshifter/fairy type character.
Map: utilise underground area
Dota inspiration: It could be assumed that Bountry hunter, Brewmaster and Alchamist have some inspiration but the abilities are different concepts.

Lore:
Not going to go heavy on lore just the characteristics, prankster, shapeshifter, loves his beer and wants gold!!!!

Weapons:
Cup of brew and small bag of gold coins

Type of character:
Small, Tanky, disable, support.

Abilities:

Strong Brew:
Pooka throws his beverage at an area creating a puddle of liquid with a strong vapour, enemies in the AOE are slowed and dazed.
Level 1: increases range
Level 2: Reduces cooldown
Level 3: increases duration, adds charges.

Pick pocket:
Pooka snatches souls from a hero, the snatch varies based on the heroes net worth. If their net worth is less than Pooka's then nothing is taken and double the cooldown Successful pick pocket adds a stack to Irish luck.

Level 1: Successful pick pocket reduces cooldown
Level 2: Unclaimed bags are completely stolen
Level 3: Pick pocket can be used to allies to give them souls in 500 lots (takes from Pooka's souls).

Irish Luck:
Pooka passively gets soul generation, successful pick pocket adds stacks increasing the amount of souls generated. Pooka loses a stack if killed.

Level 1: Unsuccessful pick pockets gain stacks but no souls
Level 2: Max HP increases for 50 per stack
Level 3: Globally increases ally soul passive gain

Four leaf clover:
Pooka selects an item and "Sins" the chances to double it for an ally. The item is then turned into a clover and the leaves are revealed. If the clover has 4 leaves, the item is returned to pooka and the closest ally receives the duplicate. If the clover isn't a four leaf the item is destroyed. (Chance is always 50/50).

Level 1: Cooldown reduced
Level 2: Slightly better odds (60/40 in Pooka's favour).
Level 3: Can choose to duplicate the soul sale worth instead of item.

I like the idea of a goblin-esque addition.

Pick pocket seems inherently bad for the game if it is stealing souls since souls are linked to not only economy but also level. Maybe have it steal stats instead.

I do like pick pocket adding stacks to the passive. What is pick pocket costs souls to use but the reward is stacks which is what this character wants

Not sure about the ultimate- are you saying it can double an item bought from the shop? That’s a no go- could be a chance to enhance it instead as the devs have shown that exists- could also play off of the leaked “cursed items” but that’s TBD

Yeah that's fair, I mean balance wise Its just a suggestion they'd have to finesse the details. I like the idea of enhancing items, yeah my original suggestion was to basically 50/50 that you lose the item or get it to give to an ally (ally owned version couldn't be sold for souls).

i do think u can have something cooking with enchanted items if no one else is thinking of that yettt but not too the degree of street brawl enchanted items haha. My guess is that whenever the next update that drops the cursed items comes out we can get a better feel of how altered items would play. Also check out the song 'Seven Goblins - Masayoshi Takanaka' for more goblin inspiration
