Hello, I'm new here on the forum, and I created this account precisely to share the idea of a hero I recently came up with. I love Deadlock and would love to have him in the game. I don’t know how to draw, but I tried to make his kit with care, so here we go. His name is Mach, a truck driver whom I would like to work for Fairfax Industries like McGinnis, basically a delivery trucker. His appearance is that of a Texan trucker, you know? I didn’t go too deep into his appearance, so let's move on to the rest. His weapon is called 'Double Mess,' a short double-barreled shotgun made from a truck exhaust, with only 2 bullets at the start of the ritual. It has a very short range, similar to Drifter’s claws.
Mach cannot aim with his weapon because in his left hand he uses a door from, Merry Low his truck as a shield, which blocks frontal ballistic projectiles and part of spiritual attacks. The shield’s health will always be half of Mach’s maximum health, rounded down, and the cooldown time between using the shield and shooting is one second and half.
If enemies manage to break Mach's shield, he gains a speed bonus since he won't have the weight of the shield, but due to his kit he will be more fragile. The shield takes 50 seconds to respawn. Now the kit:
His first ability is called "Old Tire." By pressing 1, Mach throws a tire forward that bounces off nearby enemies or nearby surfaces if there is an enemy in the area. The tire deals damage on a direct hit and can bounce once, losing 10 damage with each bounce.
LV1 - The tire gains two more bounces.
LV2 - The tire increases in size.
LV3 - The tire gains two more bounces, totalling 6, and the last bounce causes the enemy hit to be disarmed.
His second ability is "Quick Parking." When used, Mach buries the shield at his current position, gaining a speed bonus while inside the area of effect. Mach can teleport back to the shield after the ability cooldown, which is 2 seconds, and teleportation can be interrupted by enemy damage. If Mach takes too long to return or the enemies break the shield, it will explode, causing spiritual damage to all nearby enemies, but Mach will have to wait for the respawn time.
LV1- Increases the area that Mach can move away from the shield.
LV2- Increase the number of uses by 1.
LV3- Mach receives a shield when teleporting back, Also stuns nearby enemies to prevent camping.
The third ability, called "Blessing of Merry Low," increases the effectiveness of the shield. When activated, the ability grants an additional 200 extra health to the shield.
LV1 - Grants 300 more health.
LV2 - The shield reflects 20% of ballistic damage back to the opponent.
LV3 - Stores up to half of the damage taken to charge a more powerful shot with Mach's shotgun.
Now your 4th ability, his ultimate, is called "Kiss of Merry Low." Mach marks an area in front of him; enemies within the area who do not leave receive massive spiritual damage. They hear a truck horn sound and a portal opens from the sky, bringing Merry Low who falls, exploding everything around.
LV1 - Increases the area.
LV2 - Reduces cooldown from 200 to 120.
LV3 - When Merry Low hits the ground, she spreads tar in the marked area; enemies walking in it are slowed for 5 seconds, allies are not affected, but Mach is.
This is my idea of a hero, it still needs balancing and some thought on the lore, but overall that's it.
