I really wanted to make a character that acts and looks like he's from a survival horror game! This is what I came up with. If you have any ideas or feedback please let me know!
Visuals: Damien is a slightly chubby, dark-haired young adult. He wears a slightly too big, dirty purple sweater and muddy black pants. On the sweater, there are cartoon animals, one of them, a bunny, is smiling and saying: “Somebunny loves you!” He holds his weapon with two trembling hands. His animations are jerky and panicked; his "dash" is a desperate stumble-sprint.
Weapon: The rusty “Handgun“ – Found in a dark alley while Damien was fighting off trauma and visions of the past.
Background: Damien was a nobody, someone who had no talent, abilities and powers. But after a rough night and monsters lurking from the alleys trying to eat him, a broken radio turned on by itself. Through the static, he heard a voice, which had been silenced three years ago… A voice that was begging for him to help. He went home broken and sobbing, equipping his flashlight and the radio in his vest ignoring the rust and mold growing in his apartment. The moment he stepped outside the building he saw nothing but a thick fog, the residents were long gone, and now all there was left were monsters in their stead.
Abilities:
1. High Beams
Damien raises a rusty and flickering flashlight that emits a bright light. Enemies caught in the beam take Spirit Damage per second and are Blinded (screen turns white/foggy).
1 AP: +4 Seconds Duration.
2 AP: -10 Seconds Cooldown.
5 AP: Enemies caught in the beam are Slowed by 40% and suffer -15% Bullet Resist.
2. Static Warning
Damien pulls out a crackling, broken portable radio that spikes in volume.
Passive: The radio emits a low static sound when enemy heroes are within 20m (audible only to Damien).
Active: Damien turns on the radio, creating a burst of unbearable noise. Enemies in the radius are Silenced for 3 seconds and take Spirit Damage.
1 AP: +5m Passive Radius & +2m Active Radius.
2 AP: -15 Seconds Cooldown.
5 AP: If an enemy uses an ability within the Static detection range (passive radius), they are revealed to Damien and his allies on the Minimap.
3. Reprieve
Damien gulps down a mysterious "health drink" bottle. Damien cleanses himself of debuffs (bleed, slow, disarm) and gains a burst of Movement Speed and Spirit Resist for 4 seconds. If he is attacked during this duration, the attacker is Feared (forced to run away from Damien) for 1 second.
1 AP: +1 Charge
2 AP: -10 Seconds Cooldown.
5 AP: When activated, immediately reloads your weapon and grants +35% Fire Rate for the duration.
4. Ultimate: Otherworld Shift
Damien unintentionally tears the veil of reality, dragging the immediate area into a nightmare dimension, a power gifted by the Patrons for this ritual. A massive area expands around Damien. Inside the sphere the world turns rusty, chain-link fences appear, and air sirens blare. Thick fog obscures vision beyond 10 meters. Enemies inside move 30% slower and take ticking Spirit Damage. Damien gains infinite ammo and his cooldowns recharge 200% faster.
1 AP: -30 Seconds Cooldown.
2 AP: +5 Seconds Duration.
5 AP: Enemies inside the sphere cannot see health bars and the Minimap.
Extras:
Quick Melee: Damien quickly hits someone with his pistol.
Heavy Melee: Damien swings on the enemy with an Iron Pipe.

Abrams: "You look like you just saw a ghost, kid. Keep your head down and let the professionals handle this."
Damien: "A ghost? No… I saw things much worse than ghosts. Please, just stay near me."
Abrams: "Alright, alright. Just do not point that rusty iron at my back."
Lash: "Look at this guy! Shaking like a leaf. Just stand back and watch Lash do all the work."
Damien: "Yes, please! You go first! Go very far ahead of me, please!"
Lash: "Ha! Finally, someone who understands the hierarchy around here."
Damien: “So… uh, sorry for asking but you are a robot, right?”
Bebop: “Yes, I am.”
Damien: “What would a robot be doing in a place like this?”
Bebop: “What would a scared little human be doing in a place like this?”
Damien: I- Um. I suppose you are right…”
Doorman’s Ultimate: "You flinch at every shadow, terrified of monsters that aren't even there, but we both know what you're really running from. That static of your radio isn't a warning, Damien; it’s the sound of a heart monitor flatlining in a quiet room. Go on inside... she’s been waiting a long time for her son to finally come visit."
