Very simple character concept here that fits in the story line, basically this character allows you to flesh out the story line of what happens pre-Maelstrom by filling in a war that this character was a veteran in. After the war, he decided to join OSIC to keep his country safe once again. This character is an older man in his 40s or 50s, was in the war in his late teens early twenties.
Gun -> Browning Model 1895, high fire rate high DPS weapon with a sizeable magazine by default, this will be the main source of the characters DPS as they will be a gun carry, character wont have the greatest movement in the world.
Ability 1 -> Foxhole, this character has the ability to dig a foxhole/put up sandbags and mount to them, in this mounted stage the hero gains magazine size, bullet damage, and gains bullet resistance/bullet avoidance (like GT). The character is unable to move while shooting at the sandbags, and this instead acts as a "post-up" point for the character. Characters are able to flank him and shoot him in the back, which balances this item out.
Ability 2 -> C4/Bouncing Betty, this character can throw a remotely detonatable explosive (whose damage scales with either gun or spirit) and does damage to surrounding heroes based on their distance to the object at time of explosion. Alternative ability here would be a bouncing betty / claymore, which detonates automatically based on player proximity and still does range based damage (can still also damage multiple heroes if they are clumped together)
Ability 3 -> Hardened Ammunition, Wesley can reload his weapon with a magazine of hardened ammunition, this increased the characters gun damage per bullet, reduces enemies bullet resist on hit, and is able to pierce through armor (and Calvin's ultimate)
Ability 4 -> Belt-Fed Machine Gun, would work similar to Bebop ult, but instead of flying and having a beam, he stays on the ground and has a belt-fed machine gun, this deals much more damage than his regular gun, has a bigger mag (infinite mag on max ult), and gives him some level of bullet resist. The bullets have some level of spray so he doesnt have to be perfectly accurate with his weapon, similar to his 3 these rounds are piercing and can counter Calvin ult.
Can combine the 4 and 1 or 4 and the 3 to do very high burst damage in team fights or in mid game situations.
