Hero Concept - Nuclear Soul Scientist

Had this idea in the shower this morning. Not much of an artist but if someone does see this idea and want to draw it that would be really cool!

Given the approximate time-period of Deadlock, a "Manhatten Project" mad scientist character I feel like would fit well. I'm thinking a cross between the mad scientist trope and Oppenheimer. Someone studying spirits/souls/supernatural from a real-world scientific perspective, trying to "figure out" how to split a spirit like the atom. (regardless of morality), potentially a former classmate of Dynamo's (who given his alignment would not get along) or someone that Seven looks up to, known by Fairfax and McGuiness- potentially wanted dead or recruited. Working on a secret project for the US government.

Here's the rundown:

Dr. Adam

Weapon- close or medium range soul energy based smg. Or a Ray-Gun type weapon

Ability 1: Collect Sample (Skill Shot)

Shoot a syringe at an enemy that deals spirit damage and collects a sample of their soul. Heals the player for damage dealt. Collected Samples are consumed when using their other abilities to enhance them.

Ability 2: Experimental P.E.D (Self-damage + Buff)

Inject spirit in themself, increasing damage and movement speed (or some other buffs of some sort), but causing a small chunk of self-damage. Consumes samples collected to enhance the effectiveness/duration of the buffs

Ability 3: Emmitter (aura with duration)

Emit a radiation aura around the player reducing enemy movement speed and inflicting healing reduction. Consuming samples enhances range/duration

Ultimate: I am Become Death (heavy damage AOE with telegraph)

Plant a soul bomb at the player's location. After a short duration, explodes into a mushroom cloud dealing massive spirit damage, irradiating the area for a few seconds after- enemies in this area have healing reduction. Enemies killed by the explosion have their soul obliterated- preventing on-death effects like rejuv and cheat death. Pierces through spirit resist based on how many samples consumed.

Just an idea I had, I am by no means an expert game balancer.
