Me and my buddies decided to cook up our own character after losing twice in a row, we eventually settled on the concept of a knight with a flail, a cursed arm, and the determination to finally go back to sleep (permanently). Credits to my good friend enzo (eznodraws) for helping us with the concept and skills, and credits to the absolute MADLAD hiroshi (HRSH0305) for cooking up this INSANELY GOOD 3d model of Daine, and even making him his own character portrait.

half-assed backstory:
Once a distinguished knight of his kingdom a long time ago, Daine was recently revived by an unknown necromancer to be used as a mere pawn in their undead army. He managed to break free of the necromancer's grasp, and somehow kept his undead ghastly body and powers. Hearing about the eldritch tomfoolery going on at the Cursed Apple, he put his mind to getting himself that wish.
He swears by his swo- uh flail to defeat the (other patron) and finally put himself back to sleep, permanently this time.
1st skill - Swings flail after some wind-up (like yamato 1st skill), each increment also determines how much damage it does. At level 1 wind-up, it only deals damage, at level 2 wind-up is a slight knockback, at level 3 wind-up is a strong knockback.
upgrades:
1. + damage and spirit scaling
2. - cooldown and wind-up time
3. + slow effect on level 2 and 3 wind-up, + damage and spirit scaling
2nd skill - Swings flail in a circular aoe around himself, lasting for like 3-5 seconds(?) (think victor 3rd skill). Deals damage at around 1-1.5 second intervals. While the aoe is active he receives less damage.
upgrades:
1. + bullet and spirit resistance and + damage and spirit scaling
2. add a vacuum effect for enemies caught in aoe and + range of aoe
3. + damage and spirit scaling, enhance vacuum effect
3rd skill - Leaps up and primes right arm, armor starts to come off and after a short aim-time, launch cursed arm to the ground at aimed area and deal damage after left-click. (something like lash's 4th skill, but not as long). If left-click not used, the attack does not follow, but the skill has slightly longer cooldown.
upgrades:
1. + damage and spirit scaling
2. - cooldown and adds burning effect to enemies hit by attack
3. + damage and spirit scaling, + burn damage
4th skill - Daine's armor releases from his body following an explosion of spirit energy in an aoe around him (think Xaku's 4th ability from Warframe). Any enemies hit by the pieces of armor and/or the explosion itself become more vulnerable to spirit damage, while Daine himself receives a movement speed and cc immunity buff for a short-ish period.
upgrades:
1. + bullet and spirit resistance
2. + regen effects and movement speed
3. + damage and spirit vulnerability debuff
We didnt think TOO MUCH about his actual stats and numbers, but we generally wanted him to be tanky-ish guy who isnt really as fast as other heroes movement speed and stamina wise. Please feel free to discuss about that if you guys like this hero concept, and once again shoutout to hiroshi for making the insanely good character model and portrait.
