Hero Concept — Little Devil (Sustained DPS / Anti-Mobility Carry)

Overview:
Little Devil is a high-pressure, sustained DPS hero designed for Deadlock, rewarding positioning, tracking, and teamfight control. She wields an oversized Minigun and combines anti-mobility tools with item-scaling carry potential.




Design Goals​


Core Fantasy:


  • A small gothic “devil” unleashing endless gunfire, punishing enemies who fail to escape.

Gameplay Pillars:


  • Sustained DPS instead of burst
  • Strong anti-mobility tools
  • Teamfight pressure through ricochet damage
  • Item scaling carry

Intended Role:


  • Scaling Damage Dealer / Suppression DPS



Weapon — Minigun (Heat-based)​


  • Continuous fire builds Heat (no magazine or reload)
  • At maximum Heat, the weapon overheats briefly, disabling fire
  • Damage scales strongly with items
  • Sustained firing gradually increases fire rate

Design Purpose:
Encourages continuous pressure and tracking skill while preventing infinite sustained damage through the Heat mechanic.




Abilities​


Ability 1 — Devil Chain


  • Effect: 40% movement slow, dash distance reduced by 50% (2.5s)
  • Purpose: Creates windows where enemies cannot easily escape Minigun pressure
  • Counterplay: Missing the chain allows enemies to disengage easily

Ability 2 — Ricochet Curse


  • Marks a target with a demonic sigil
  • Minigun bullets ricochet to up to 2 nearby enemies (60–70% damage)
  • Duration: ~5s
  • Purpose: Transforms her from a single-target threat into teamfight pressure, rewards good positioning

Ability 3 — Dark Dash


  • Short directional dash
  • Reduces current weapon Heat by 50%
  • Grants 20% damage reduction for 1s
  • Purpose: Provides minimal survivability and repositioning without making her highly mobile

Ultimate — Frenzy Overload


  • Duration: 8s
  • +50% fire rate, Heat generation disabled
  • Eliminations restore 30% max health, grant +5% stacking damage, slightly extend ultimate duration
  • Audio / Personality: Laughs manically and taunts enemies: “Dodge my barrage!”

Appearance / Flavor Text:
A mischievous, gothic-aristocratic gunslinger shrouded in shadow, Little Devil exudes an aura of elegance twisted with menace. She moves with poised confidence, her dark Gothic-Lolita dress flowing around her like a veil of night, layered with intricate lace, chains, and occult trinkets that hint at forbidden power. Her eyes glint with sly amusement and a hint of danger, as if daring her enemies to come closer.


At her side is a massive, multi-barreled rotary cannon, its barrels encased in chains and engraved with glowing runes. The weapon hums with lethal potential, a mechanical extension of her chaotic will. Alongside her, a small demonic doll hovers—a playful yet sinister companion that mirrors her personality: clever, cunning, and unrelentingly dangerous.
