Hero Ability Concept Idea: Time Skipper

I've written about this ability before, but it was originally designed for dota and it was really stupid but funny.

Time Skipper is an ability that affects the game time.

The hero can activate the ability to immediately skip time within the game, any time-based objectives/thing are either respawned/spawned/manipulated.

Alt-casting the ability time-skips for half the duration and half the cooldown.

At level 1: Time-skip 2 minutes
At level 2: Time-skip 4 minutes
At level 3: Time-skip 6 minutes
At level 4: Time-skip 10 minutes

If a powerup has yet to spawn or has a few minutes, the player may time-skip to immediately spawn it or spawn the next set to get 2-4 powerups.

If the enemy team gets the rejuv, you can time-skip and immediately expire their rejuv (or after 1 minute depending on your level).

If midboss is dead, the player can time-skip to get a faster midboss.

The player can also time-skip to accelerate player death timers.

The player may immediately spawn the next urn after delivery, or time-skip to change the urn spawn position.

The player can time-skip to respawn neutral creep camps or sinner sacrifices.

Time-skip speeds up/accelerates all heroes ability and item cooldowns, potentitally giving allied or enemy dynamo his ultimate or refresher back.

If heroes has trophy collector, the souls per minute will be applied to the hero and the hero accumulates all that passive soul income immediately.

This may make trophy collector a very meta item for all heroes if this hero is in the game as it would enable so much souls super quickly - also it may encourage for others to obtain those stacks early...

This is the major difference to how this ability works in Deadlock vs Dota since Deadlock doesn't have passive GPM and time-skip would have scaled based on your current GPM leading to huge swings in networth due to Alchemist/Midas/how farming works. Although if properly calculated, this ability could still have an instant networth swing effect in Deadlock.

To maintain proper gametime duration understanding, I guess there will be actual game time and manipulated game time.

Originally, I thought that time-skipping also would let the hero time-skip to trooper spawn time, but I think that had some issues like if you time-skip post spawn time does it spawn the troopers at the spawn location or further down the zipline?

If a Haze presses ult, should this ability be able to time-skip to essentially negate the ability?

The hero would have to do the casting animation again if the ability is not on cooldown - and to know to do that.

But stamina would also be refreshed ...
And all heroes would have undergone health regeneration...

(early health regeneration would probably be really strong on/against this hero)

This ability is kinda like global silence but really crazy - like global reset. 😂🤣
