This is a working concept idea for the hero, if you feel inspired by this to make any sort of artwork for the character please feel free to post it in the replies.
Back Story:
The adoptive son of Ser Thomas Inkwell, Yoshimura was found as an orphan during the former's study abroad in Japan. Thomas was part of the Inkwell family. A family well known for their scholars, poets, artists, and their ability to restore broken or damaged artifacts. It is not entirely known how the Inkwells posses the ability to repair lost artifacts, even ones that do not originate from Earth. It is rumored that despite their outwardly human appearance the Inkwells may not have originated from Earth.
Yoshimura, was adopted by Ser Thomas after the later had chanced upon Yoshimura's latent abilities. Similar to the powers of the Inkwell family, Yoshimura was shown to have an affinity with Briar's Ink. A magical ink-like substance that all Inkwells are trained to use during their practices. Briar's Ink is also a well kept secret of the Inkwells.
Some years later, Yoshimura would find himself amesatic, not knowing how or why he ended up a parctipant to the Ritual. What Yoshimura does know is that a wooden mask that goes by the name Visage seems to follow him around wherever he goes.
Brief of Powers and Abilities:
Weapon:
Yoshimura carries with him an Inkbrush pen and paper.
When firing Yoshimura extends a blotch of ink in a straight line based on where he is aiming.
Ability 1:
Yoshimura's first ability etches runes on near by enemes and enemy troops. These runes slowly deal passive spirit damage over time and help to fill Yoshimura's Briar's Inkwell.
Ability 2:
Yoshimura can summon large puddles of ink within a certain radius. Enemies that walk through these puddles are slowed and appear on the map for a longer duration while allies gain increased movement speed and remain hidden from the map for a longer duration.
Ability 3:
As Yoshimura deals damage to both enemies and troopers he slowly fills his Briar's Inkwell. The Inkwell increases the damage he his capable of inflicting.
Ability 4:
Yoshimura's ultimate allows Visage to posses Yoshimura. During the possession, Yoshimura's attacks change significantly.
When firing his weapon an Oni like creature will appear at the end and deal explosive spirit and gun damage to any near by targets.
Yoshimura's 1 ability now allows him to Etch runes on to friendly allies. This causes a passive health drain on friendly allies however they receive a buff to weapon and spirit damage.
Yoshimura's 2 ability now deals passive spirit damage to anyone who walks through be they ally or enemy.
Yoshimura's 3 ability drains at a much faster rate and if Yoshimura is in the Visage state for too long the Briar's Ink will turn red dealing passive damage to himself.
