Game started and it switched me to a spectator in a different game

Don't even know how to explain this properly.
Queued for a game > hit spectate on a friend's game > my game popped and I was loading in > my game starts, I can look up builds and stuff > everything freezes > I am switched to my friend's game in spectator > can't rejoin my own game > banned for 30 mins?
Also, couldn't rejoin at all and showed free to abandon game for others in the game. Restarting didn't work.

I had this same issue occur. I'm not sure if was another game or not but I was in spectator mode.
