Game randomly is crashing and getting me banned because a "\citadel\pak01.vpk" corrupts midmatch.

"Fatal ERROR: Content file e:\steamlibrary\steamaps\common\deadlock\game\citadel\pak01.vpk is corrupt. Verify integrity of game files."
This seemingly happens randomly, it doesn't matter if I'm in the hideout or in a match, sometimes it happens when I'm just on a zip line, sometimes it happens when Silver dropkicks me in the face.
Every time however it is a guarantee that Steam WILL break after and be unable to re-download the file and by the time I fix it by restarting my PC and steam the game considers me as having abandoned the match leaving me with a ban.
To be more descriptive when attempting to verify files after or simply trying to launch the game both will stay stuck at 0% and will not move.

I really hope this becomes a priority soon because its only a matter of time before my bans are weeks long and I'm just unable to play.

This has been happening to me recently as well during two of my games and it seems the files will not verify until the match is either remade or ends, or until some time has passed. I just got banned for this happening at the start of a match and I don't want this to be reoccurring especially because of those bans. I literally just made this account to report the issue, but it seems there's others getting this as well. I also don't mod my game and it's on a stable SSD.
