Game is cut off in display on Linux (Proton)

Description
The game is cut off at the top of the display and a blank space can be seen at the bottom of the display.

Steps to replicate

1. Make sure game is run at native resolution.
2. If bug does not appear, exit game and repeat steps.

• Notes: Happens every other game launch

Try updating to the latest nvidia driver in the beta branch should probably fix the issue, also compiling https://github.com/ValveSoftware/gamescope from the latest branch with -O3 and running that combined with the game should fix the issue, works atleast on my machine running with Artix Linux with the latest Grok kernel patches.

Why would installing the latest beta NVIDIA driver do anything on a system with an AMD GPU?

I'm thinking the issue is within DXVK. If I enable both DXVK_HUD and Mangohud, Mangohud will be shifted with the game but DXVK_HUD will bealigned correct. I also don't think Vulkan rendering has this issue.
Also happens on Vulkan. Never mind.

Setting Window Mode to Fullscreen in the game solved this for me in XFCE.

The game is drawn properly if I go to video settings, and press Apply Settings. No need to change a setting or anything.
But it has to be done every time after the game is launched.

necro but this is still happening. (Arch latest Nvidia drivers)
Such an oddity, I was wondering where my match timer went..

It happens for me in borderless mode. It's fixed when I switch to fullscreen
