[Linux] Random crashes multiple times in a game

Very inexperienced in troubleshooting Source games, let me know what is useful.

Previously, I've experienced occasional crashes but nothing multiple times in one game. I've tooled with my video settings multiple times, currently running on Fastest/Lowest just for while testing.

In a game tonight I had 5 or so crashes throughout, resulting in an abandon ultimately due to being unable to rejoin quickly enough. Each crash resulted in a frozen screen, looping sound effects, and unresponsive game. Some of the crashes I tested and found Steam entirely unresponsive, not just Deadlock. Killing processes and restarting, I get crashes again. Reproduced post-game in the Hideout as well after ~ 10 mins of spamming ults and abilities, ultimately crashing on Dynamo/Sinclair singularity spam.

After the last in-game crash, I did a full system/driver update and reboot to ensure I wasn't out of date on anything.

OS: EndeavourOS x86_64
Kernel: Linux 6.16.7-arch1-1
WM: Hyprland 0.51.0 (Wayland)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (12) @ 4.21 z
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT [Discre]
GPU Driver: Mesa 25.2.3-arch1.1
Memory: 46.95 GiB

mdmp log from today included as well as the proton log and system vulkan info

I had similar issues a few days ago; 3-4 crashes in a single game. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't the network since I have network stats set to show up with graph when the jitter etc gets really bad.

I also had ping running in the bg, and it didn't get interrupted.

My game froze, and I "lagged" out and then had to rc from the hideout.

Put also the kernel dump here, they will appreciate that

Update: Today I've been playing no issue. Updated my Proton version from GE-Proton9-25 to GE-Proton10-17, added PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 to the launch command, and added mangohud to track performance. Haven't tried other versions of Proton in the meantime.

Was probably just due to using an outdated version of Proton. Will make sure I'm updating that regularly.
