Fps Cut in half after 10-11 minute mark

Consistent & happens every game

normally hitting 144fps (capped to my refresh rate)
goes down to 25-30 constant fps (so worse than half)

I have a Nvidia 3060 and a 12th gen intel core i7-12700H cpu

this issue only started happening recently

I updated windows to see if it was because I had an old version. (didn't fix anything)
